Exceptional Minds offers a variety of part-time programs for students who seek training in computer animation and visual effects for the purpose of enrichment, preparation for application to the Full-Time Program, personal project completion, or to prepare for specific employment targets. All programs are available in person (Sherman Oaks, CA) or online via Zoom.

Workshops

Workshops are some of our most popular programs. Workshops expose students to a variety of programs and skills related to animation and VFX. Students have the opportunity to learn in a fun, tolerant, low-pressure classroom environment. 

Our summer program features 2-week workshops that run 10am-3pm Monday through Friday. We offer four sessions throughout the summer for scheduling flexibility.

Spring, autumn, and winter workshops are 5-weeks (two hours each week) and are offered in the afternoons (after-school) and on weekends. 

Private Lessons

Private Lessons offer one-to-one instruction for students ages 14+ in technical, artistic, and employment skills. Private Lessons are available on-site and virtually.

Academy Extensions

Extensions are programs happening at different times in the day where students can work on personal projects or prepare for Full-Time admissions.
